The 10 Most Awesomely Bad Moments of the Bush Presidency

you gotta love an article that starts out like this:

"In a lot of ways, choosing the Bush administration's 10 greatest moments -- disastrous failures, all -- is about as pointless as picking out your 10 least favorite hemorrhoids: There are entirely too many of them, and taken together they all add up to a throbbing mass of pain."

um. yeah.

alternet, one of my favorite sites on the web, does a terrifically terrifying analysis of the top ten biggest Bush debacles, which is a little like searching for a needle in a haystack. not nearly as vivid as the whole hemorrhoid comparison, but still...i wouldn't have the energy, or the intestinal fortitude, to look over the last eight years of truly fascist governing and come up with a top 100, much less a top 10.

if you've got some time, this is an excellent read. here's the list, but you gotta check out alternet HERE to get the gorry details.

10: Bush Gets Re-elected

9: Alberto Gonzales' Congressional Testimony

8: North Korea Conducts a Nuclear Test

7: Colin Powell's Bogus WMD Presentation at the U.N.

6: The Terri Schiavo Affair

5: Bush and Condi's Excellent Gaza Adventure

4: "Brownie, You're Doing a Heckuva Job"

3: Abu Ghraib

2: 9/11

1: "Mission Accomplished"

The Slant wishes to inform you that as of the publishing of this post, there are 201 days, 13 hours, and 30 minutes left of the Bush Regime.

I dunno. I wonder if the worst moment of Bush's presidency might not be the day he was inaugerated the first time.

I saw that over on alternet and loved it. Or hated it. I'm not sure which.

Is it over yet?

Ok, I don't think it's a done deal this guy will exit 1600 come January.

Stay tuned.
